The Old Hardians Association represents generations of students who studied at the historic Hardy Institute in Ampara. Founded to uphold the vision of Professor Evan Alan Hardy, the Association continues to unite past students, celebrate shared achievements, and support the growth of future technologists and professionals across Sri Lanka.

Since its beginnings in the 1950s, the Hardy Institute has played a major role in developing technical education for Sri Lanka and the wider region. The Old Hardians Association works to preserve this legacy by fostering fellowship among alumni, contributing to educational development, and supporting student activities and community initiatives.Through decades of progress, the Association has remained committed to the values of honesty, training, and industry that Professor Hardy instilled. Today it continues to serve as a strong and active network that brings together members from every part of the world.
